DocumentsCorePack Condition Syntax (CRM 2015/2016)

Certain properties of DocumentsCorePack templates consist of conditions based on CRM fields. This article covers the basic syntax and the advanced options that can be used.
Several DocumentsCorePack properties support the same syntax. A list of these properties can be found at the end of this article. 

  1. The basic syntax:

    Fields from CRM are enclosed by << and >> when you insert them from the tree view.

    Fixed text has to be typed manually into the text field and has to be enclose with single quotes ( ' ).

    To combine several CRM fields and fixed text you have to use the plus sign (+). (see figure 3)

  2. Supported datatypes and available operators

LEN(text) returns the string-length

TRIM(text) deletes the whitespace at the beginning/end

SUBSTRING

CONVERT

CONVERT(value, destType) destType must be a .Net datatype, e.g.: System.Int32
